Hi all we have a document that says my uncle was in Selly oak hospital in 1935 where can I find records to see how long he was there for. His birth mother was also in there but was discharged in 1934. :-)

I doubt if they will still have patient records from so long ago.

Hospital closed in 2011 and patients and current records were transferred to the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Researching:
Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.

Doubt whether those records are available now .

They may not even have survived .

Plus too if they are archived think time restraints would apply so they would be closed records

The Hospital Database states there are records held at the Birmingham Archives, though the records you need may be too recent to access. Try the link to the archive given in the Database and search the catalogue.
