I have found his wife back home in Biggleswade on 1891 but I still cannot find him on 1881

Good afternoon, I cannot find John Joseph Stocker on 1881 and 1891 census could someone take a look please. I have him on all other census but not these 2. His details are:

John Joseph Stocker born 1857. Biggleswade Bedfordshire. He married Sarah Rebecca Boultwood in 1882 in Biggleswade and died 1929 again in Biggleswade.
