	In all honesty I know very little. Here is what I have. John Keane was born 8/2/1894 (from 1939) and he married Daisy Isobel Macpherson Jones on 19/4/1919 at Southwark. John was a coal miner in 1919 and a wharf labourer in 1939 The marriage cert says John Keane's father was Michael, Stonemason. The witnesses were William Hay Jones (Daisy's father) and Denis Keane, probably John's brother. I cannot find John and his father Michael in the census. It doesn't help that I do not know WHERE John was born. I have looked at the relevant Irish census as well as the English. I know I am asking a lot but someone may have a brilliant idea and find stonemason Michael with his son John. Gerry
