They actually had three sons called Thomas, but the first two died in infancy:

I don't see Thomas & Louisa's marriage. Perhaps there wasn't one.

Thanks safc - this looks like them.

I wonder why they didn't show up when I looked - all that was coming up was Beavis and I didn't make a typo. Now I just have to find them in 1901.

I've been trying to find this family in 1901 & 1911 census - Thomas Bavis, Louisa Bavis & children Jane (born 1889) and Catherine (born 1891).


In 1891 they are living in Oldham - I have this from the census and Catherine's birth certificate. They did move to St. Helens where both Thomas and Louisa died and are buried - Thomas in 1936 and Louisa in 1949. There were two other children, Frank and Thomas. Frank was born in 1893 but died at age 6 or 7. No idea when Thomas was born.


Louisa was previously married to John Price Roberts and Jane is from that marriage, though her name was Bavis on her marriage certificate.


I just need to find them in the 1901 and 1911 census.
