Please could anyone help with some confusion that has arisen from information given me through the Hot Matches.
It seems we all have the same information up to and including William Eskriett born in 1786/7 Hutton Cranswick, Yorkshire, he married Feronia Hall born in Nafferton, Yorkshire in 1793/4. The confusion is with Williams parents - are they:
William born 1753 Bainton who married Ann Hall born 1756 - or William 1766 he married Hannah Jennison c1766 (married 1785 in Hutton Cranswick)

Thanks Maddie, so its William and Ann - I wonder if the marriage shown between William and Hannah is actually William and Ann - only wonder because of the date and Hutton connection

can't see a death for an ann in hutton cranswick

Sorry I must have been replying before the rest of the information showed up, So from this then I presume its unlikely that William and Ann are the parents and its more likely that the William that married in Hutton Cranswick in 1785 to Hannah Jennison are the correct parents - especially as William himself was born 1786 in Hutton Cranswick.

I can see why the mothers name of Ann may have been some cause of the confusion but of course Hannah quite often was shortened to Anna or Ann. Williams parents were put as William and Ann as were James'.
