His military records won't be online

They can be obtained from

The Army Personnel Centre
MS Support Unit, P & D Branch Historical Disclosures,
MP 555 Kentigern House
65 Brown Street
GLASGOW G2 8EX

They do cost though and can take months to arrive

Wondering if anyone has acces to military records and can check them for any more information re my uncle 3527641 Lance Corporal Tom Lonsdale GREEN.
He was born 5 November 1916 and lived at 19 Hercules Green, Middleton Junction.
He was taken Prisoner of War during the Second World War and his mother received notification that he was missing, presumed dead. 3 years later he was found as a PoW and returned home.
He was awarded the Burma Star medal.
He died in December 1995.
Many thanks
