You think on the image for a baptism of Elizabeth in 1758,it look like mothers name as Marg (t) -instead of Mary?

What was the date of burial for Margaret TAYLOR that you found?

I think you are right Chris. The image is definitely Margaret and not Mary for mother's name.

No other children recorded on parish baptisms on Findmypast with father George and mother Margaret other than the one you've already got for James.

I can't find a marriage on there either..

Where did you find the baptism of James?

One would expect other children - if any - to be recorded on the same site.

Have you tried family search site .it may have more records

Looking for marriage of my ancestors George TAYLOR & Margaret in (possibly) Stoke Damerel,Devon,England before 1766. Their son James TAYLOR was baptised in 1766 in Stoke Damerel. Also interested in if there were other children baptised in Stoke Damerel. (My tree on Ancestry as BETTS).
