	Born circa 1780 (bap.17 Nov 1780) Burton upon Trent, Staffs, Died Sept 1834 (Foremark, derbyshire). Father was John Davies Greaves(died 1784), son Augustus Goring Greaves(born 1813). I am unable to find a wife for this man, can anybody help please ?

	I think there is a later Thomas Ley Greaves. Maybe a son or nephew. Some ancestry trees seem to have confused the two, I suspect I may find the same on family search.

	Thomas who married Mary was born c1804 and died 1878 - in Leicestershire As you will have found if you looked at familysearch

	Augustus Goring's obituary is on FMP - my sub doesn't stretch that far. It may mention a mother's name........................

	Absolutely not, Shirley All posts are addressed to the OP, unless otherwise indicated. Augustus had a son with second forename Newton, which may - or may not - reinforce the suggestion about his mother'sidentity

	This Thomas was born 1780ish and his son was born 1813 as in OP so the Thomas and Mary marriage is irrelevant unless that Thomas (1804) is the son of the Thomas I'm inquiring about.
