Where have you looked?

You say they 'may' have had 4 children -have you done any research to back up the idea?

How do you connect to this man?

That marriage was 1984, which would be OK. Don't know why Malyon's version also states 6 June 2006.

But unless they decided to get married while on holiday (it looks like a Las Vegas marriage) , the place is definitely wrong.

A different transcription of it;

Richard Joseph Pryce
in the Nevada, Marriage Index, 1956-2005
Name: Richard Joseph Pryce
Gender: Male
Spouse: Winifred Williams
Marriage Date: 6 Jun 1984
Marriage County: Clark
Officiant Type: Civil celebrant
Recorded Date: 11 Jun 1984
Recorded County: Clark
Book: 713
Page: B505677
Instrument number: 289481

If that's the correct marriage, then they wouldn't have had children together - though maybe there were children from previous marriages.

I don't see a Richard Joseph Pryce on Queensland ERs.

There's this one below, not in Queensland.
If that's him, he's on his own in all three records.

1953

PRYCE TO GO TO GAOL
Richard Joseph ("Pancho") Pryce was sentenced to four months gaol with hard labour on a charge of unlawful possession of about £300 wortn of tinned goods from the Government Stores.
Pryce, aged 30, who is the owner of the "White Russia"
peanut farm near Adelaide River, maintained that he had bought the tins from a stranger with a red beard who drove a green semi-trailer.
This defence, said Mr. Worth, struck him as "im-probable" and he added that he was "not at ^all impressed by the defendant."
Pryce, said Mr. Worth, has probably enough sense to know that it is hard to get away with these things.
"There is not the slightest doubt that the legislature has regarded this offence as an extremely serious one."
Mr. Worth explained that the conviction was in respect
of all the items of tinned goods mentioned in the complaint except 35 tins of Letona peach jam and 29 tins of I.X.L. Pryce left the court withoutany noticeable discomfiture, tor there is little doubt that the "man of few words" (as he described himself during his trial) was dealt with leniently.

Another report of this case in 1953 mentions his wife, Mary Baird. So Winifred must indeed have been a later wife:

Probably him as well - he sounds like quite a character!

And this:

LEFT ROAD
During a heavy rain-storm on Wednesday night, a taxi driven by Richard Joseph Pryce left the road at the entrance to the Victualling Yards and overturned. Neither the driver nor his passengers, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clarke were injured and only minor damage was done to the vehicle.

The Rootsweb thread found by Margaret may be Ian's (though that's not the Rootsweb poster's name), as there's an additional post of today's date, asking about Richard and Winifred's marriage.
