He was born 1911 trying to find his records as he was in the royal artillery in the 2nd world war I wonder if any one can help please to find his service records

You don't have to be N O K to apply for service records if the person died more than 25 years ago.

You may be asked to prove that the person is dead

The records cost £30.00 unless the applicant is the service person's widow(er)

They take several months to arrive, in normal circumstances.

In the current situation, there is no knowing how long they will take
