You need Scotlandspeople which is a site where you have to buy credits to see the information.

I'm not sure how many parish records they have before 1855 when civil registration began in Scotland.

Results for marriages show spouse's name, so you can check before paying for credits

Presumably, you worked back to this man through one of his children. That child's birth year and birthplace may give a clue as to which marriage (if any) is relevant
