saw the birth in Wandsworth , there is also a death for a William Richard Read in Wandsworth a year later so thought that might not be the right one. My doubts have come about because there are several people researching William R Read, there is a William Richard, William Robert and William Thomas, they all have them being married to Edna Winifred Darkin which is why I sent for the marriage certificate.thanks for reply

Have asked for help with this before...I now know that the William I am looking for is William Richard Read born 1894. I was sure of his spouses name Edna Winifred Darkin so I sent for their marriage certificate in 1915.
William Richard Read age 21, occupation glass blower, living 22 Romford Street Barking, fathers name Albert Read deceased , Bookmaker
Edna Winifred Darkin age 23 ..have been able to find information on her due to her unusual surname.
I am now trying to find Williams parents, have used his fathers name but having no luck, would appreciate any help given Thanks

Have tried Family Search, Ancestry, Gov BMD to try to find the name of his mum, not sure that Rose is his mother
