	Look at the CWGC site. It’s free., and very simple to use If he was David Leslie Jones, he died 17 JUNE 1940

	from a tree on ancestry David Oct 1916 • Hackney, Greater London, England 1916 (AGE) Military 1938 • London, England Enlisted in the Royal Artillery and posted to the 158th Battery of the 53rd (City of London) Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment 1938 22 Military 16 Oct 1939 • France Lance-Bombardier 1447752 landed at Cherbourg and with the 58th Battery manned area around Guignocourt 1939 23 Death 17 Jun 1940 • Saint Nazaire, France Body found on coast following the bombing of the HMT Lancastria. The ship was involved in the evacuation of British Troops from Saint Nazaire following the Fall of France 1940 23 Burial La Baule-Escoublac, Departement de la Loire-Atlantique, Pays de la Loire, France Plot 1 Row: B Grave: 27.
