Which Thomas Stocks have you PROVED to be your direct line?
I’m finding it difficult to follow your post - sorry. The dates don’t seem to tally, especially with regard to Ann’s father, whose birth year you seem to say was 1877
you seem to have two different men named Stocks dying in the same year with the same executors. No doubt I’m missing the point somehow
Perhaps it would be easier if you C&P’d the censuses to which you make reference

So Ann Stocks born @ 1813 - 1886 to mum Ann 1776 -1857 widow of Thomas 1777-1834
Ann 1813 had son illegitimate 1834/5
All together on 1841 census as posted.
Thomas 1834/5 married in Wetherby 18/8/1857 to Ann Eilzabeth Dyson named his dad as Hauxwell Stokes!!
Hawswell/Hauxwell Broadbelt born @ 1814 died 5/6/1881 probate 3/3/1930
He married Ann Stokes in Hull 1848.
