Hello
I have come to a brick wall, can you help.
George A Moss born 1889, Married 1922 to Jessie Cook.
The persons I have been unable to find are George’s father, mother or even grandparents.
What I do know is all the family worked on the railways, and one of the ancestor’s was a Dray-man.
They all worked in London stations, and lived in Bermondsey and around that area.
But I can’t find them in any of the census or anywhere else.
Any help you can give will be welcomed, Thanks

Simple solution - get a copy of the marriage cert for father’s name - if known.
OR - look for George’s birth on the GRO site to find MMN, then look for a marriage which tallies
What did the ‘A’ represent?

The GRO shows a birth in Camberwell (where they married) for George Allington Moss MMN Price. Any good?

His father was George, mother was Louie, youngest brother Robert, sisters Maggie Slayford and Willie assume this should read Lillie all of 34 Ormside Street, Old Kent Rd.
