Hi Kath,
Just letting you know I used the link you sent me & it's a great site and really easy to use.
I didn't find William's burial at St James so it's back to square one in searching
:-(
Take care,
Sandra x

If you don't want to wait for the record offices opening then for £5.50p you can download the parish registers from St. James's in Harvington. I have not used the site so don't know what it is like:-

Sandra

When the Records Offices re-open - get in touch and request a search.

Very few burials are online anywhere

That burial pre-dates the man's death

I did look at this record, but it's not the right William.
This William was aged 83 & the William I looking for is aged 32.

Hi, No I live in France so it's all by the internet.

These are the sites I've used so far -
Ancestry
FMP
Family Search
Find a grave
Deceased online + this one.

Where have you looked in trying to find a burial?

Have you actually been to the County Records Offices?

Hello, I hope someone might be able to help me find the burial records for William Sorrell B 03/05/1867 in Harvington, Worcester D 1900. His parents were George Sorrell & Mary Elizabeth Marshall (I have all of their records).
I have the 1871,81 & 91 census for William & his birth and death cert.

William died on the 24/02/1900 at Connaught Hospital, Farnborough - aged 32 - he was a private in the 1st Battalion Worcester Regiment of North camp - Registered on the 26/02/1900.

William married Mary Elizabeth Marshall on 06/06/1896 and had 4 children (I have all of their records)

I was told that he was buried at St James in Harvington, but could not find any record for him. I have also been searching the cemeteries in Worcestershire & around Farnborough, but I have had no luck in finding his grave so far.

Thanking you for any help you maybe able to give me :-)
