Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 11 Send Message	Stuck here. He was supposedly born in Wellington, Shropshire and married Elizabeth Bullock in Brewood Staffordshire in 1793. His parents could have William ALLcock and Jane but I am not sure. Any help or pointers would gratefully receives. Thank you Brian AlcockWellington

	No Alcock witnesses to the marriage, so no clues there No baptism on FMP or Ancestry NB. In 1841, his birthplace is recorded as 'in County', which means Staffordshire. It's in 1851 when he says it was Wellington, Shropshire

Most of the information I am getting is from Family Search (Shirley & Erika) and I am veering towards William christened 1 Sept 1771 (Maddie & Abby) and parents William and Jane, so I might look at them a bit closer. Maybe check all who are in Brewood/Kiddermore Green from Shropshire. Again my thanks. Brian
