Member Since: August 2010 Posts: 1 Send Message	Hello I am trying to trace my paternal ancestors, the Valks family. I have managed to trace Henry Valks back to 1620 but am looking to go further. Rumour is they originated from Holland and settled in a place called Little Holland in Lincoln where they were dykers and basket weavers. There is a line of the Henry Valks living in Sedgefield dating from the 1600s. Any information gratefully received. Thank You Fiona Valks

	Try familysearch if you haven't already done so https://www.familysearch.org/en/ To have got back to 1620, you must know where Henry was born Valks is probably an anglicised version of the name
