Your fathers birth cert will name his mum them you can look for their marriage

It will give his age and his fathers name

Rather than start at grt grandad it’s best to work back to him

Do you know your grandmother's name?
A copy of your father's birth certificate should give you details.

This might be grandparents' marriage
Marriages Sep 1920
Watson John A ... Wilson ...Leyburn 9d 1843
Wilson Margaret T ... Watson ... Leyburn 9d 1843

As there are 2 possible births on the GRO index, other information is needed to track back on the correct family.
A copy of your grandparents' marriage certificate will hopefully name their fathers and their occupations, then using that information, we could hopefully find the correct family in 1911 census.

There is one born in Leeds 1902 and one in Cockermouth in 1903. Either of these?

Was your father born in Hampshire?
