In case he was a little older than the age he gave on the 1851 census there is this baptism....

Her age does look like 70 on the image.


But Pickering is about 45 miles from Wetherby.

phillip may not have been born in yorkshire some times people did not know where they where born

Looking at the Baptism I'm thinking it's the Thorner Baptism in 1815....his abode is Scarcroft.

The chances are he lied about is birth as he was already a lot older than Mary Ann Milner when he married her. Also the 1861 Census he gives his age as 1816.

Also his first child was called Hannah

Scarcroft is just over 6 Miles from Wetherby.

phillip also has a daughter called hannah in 1851 census so hannah could have been this mother
