Hi Thanks for replies I sent for the Elliston - Smith marriage certificate but afraid this is not the Lily Smith I am looking for as the Lily on certificate was 26 yrs old spinster when married and her father was a James Smith Thank again

Thank you so much i have sent for certificates if this is correct lily then i shall endeavour to purchase more hopefully find some blood relatives on Peters maternal side that are living. Who knows they may know through grapevine who his father was.
