FMP has transcribed his surname as LAUGHAM. I have submitted corrections

BTW - he’s a widower in 1851

Try using variants of the name - the image is pretty poor, so mistranscriptions are understandable

Yes, it’s his first marriage - and his first wife’s death. As I said, he was a widower in 1851 - and that is his status on the second marriage cert
