	john thomas evans b1877 tipton staffordshire on 1901 census his wife is Ann E Evans age 26 b1875 Wife Rowley Regis, Staffordshire on the 1911 John Thomas Evans 34 1877 Male Head Married 12 Tipton, Staffordshire Coach painter Hannah Evans 35 1876 Female Wife Married 12 Rowley Regis, Staffordshire on the 1939 register he is a widow I have found a marriage on free reg for 1898 John Thomas Evans and Ann Eliza Kite it is JT he was a coach painter another persons tree has her Hannah Eleanor Kite (Born 1876) but I cannot find her I have sent a message to tree owner asking for info but as yet no reply they have the same date for marriage 1898

	1901 census shows his wife’s name as Ann E, children Percy F and Gladys M The marriage on freebmd shows her forenames as Ann Eliza

	The tree on Ancestry which claims that Hannah Eleanor was the wife, provides "proof" in the form of the GRO Index page which lists the marriage of Ann Eliza! As already said, never believe anything on someone else's tree without checking it out for yourself.
