As well as the son John in 1806, William and Ann also had Charles 20/03/1808, Thomas 10/07/1814, William 31/08/1802, and Esther 06/04/1804 .

Sadly, there are burial records for Esther, Thomas, and David (born 1812, though I can't find his baptism) - all buried in Feb 1815.

A tree on Ancestry (actually, I think it's your tree - Mandy Smith?) claims Ann was born 30 Nov 1778 in Yorkshire.
Parents: William and Easter (Esther) Ann Selby.

However, it's impossible to tell if people in what records are offered as "proof" are actually the same Ann and her family.

I suspect the tree owner(you ?) has latched on to the mistranscription of her birthplace in the 1851 census.
The tree claims that her father was born in London, married in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, had Ann in Yorkshire, and died in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
Another supposed daughter is said to have been baptised in South Cerney, Gloucestershire, about 140 miles away from Grantham.
I'm afraid it all sounds like someone (you?) grabbing at any record for people with convenient names.

Apologies if I'm wrong!

Don't know if this is her in 1841 or not - can't find the birth of a son George (which doesn't mean she didn't have one).
If this is her, it indicates that she was born in Derbyshire, which certainly seems probable.

Is this the death you found? - though it would make her YOB 1778, not 1783 as you've suggested
