I hope someone can help please. I am looking for any background on my Grandmother Ellen Glancy. She married Alfred Yapp in Enniskillen in March 1865. Her Father is stated as Thaddeus.
I have their marriage details. Alfred was in the British Army at the time, moving back to home Wednesbury C1870. He was in 29th Foot in Armagh in April 1865.
Thaddeus has a death showing as 1868 aged 82 in Enniskillen.
I am drawing total blanks for any of Ellens family. There was a Thaddeus baptised in Cork , but in 1812. Wrong dates for death certificate, and also why would someone from Cork, end up in Enniskillen !
If any one can help me by telling me where to look, would be grateful.
