I have found a reference to this relation [4th cousin] in the above newspaper for January 5th 1983 but I can't access it because I don't have a subscription.

Can some kind soul PLEASE have a look for me?

Thank you AG. It has popped up via the My Heritage site where we have our family tree. But it then links into a site where I would need to pay to view. :-|

What site does it want you to pay for?

Searching Google for "Connecticut Newspapers, 1791-2009 " doesn't bring up a site with that name.
There are sites for various Connecticut newspapers, but not including the Catholic Press in 1983.

Searching for the Catholic Press doesn't produce any result which includes anything as recent as 1983.

It's their own website. We have their Premium Plus subscription but it wants me to go for Premium to be able to see this record. Harrumph.

Seems strange.
If you have Premium Plus, that's already a higher level of subscription than Premium.
