Hello
I am looking for anyone related to or knows of William Carruthers, born in Longtown, in what was then Cumberland in or around 1911.
He was a brother to John, Joseph, Richard, Robert, Jean (Janet), and Annie.
It is known that he fought in WWII but are not sure where or with which service.
Any information would be gratefully received.
Possible relations could be on the west coast of Cumbria, UK.
