Find Ancestors

Hi
I am trying to find the name and any information of my Great Uncle he was married to a lady called
Violet Beatrice Valentine Whiting (My Great Aunt)
She was born 14/02/1907 Woolwich London
I have no idea where they married or when
What I do know is that he was killed in WW2 -
He was a crew member on HMS Courageous that sank (Ireland) my mother called him Uncle Bert

I feel it would be Herbert CV Williams
My Aunt lived in Ipswich and I seem to remember being told she had named her eldest son after him when she went on to have children in a later marriage
if any one can help with any other information about him that would be amazing
