Find Ancestors

Hi All,
I am trying to find a birth certificate for my late Mother but struggling. She and her five siblings where born in India and I have certs for the others but not Mum
Her Details: Patricia Enid Rabjohns B 12/08/1929 In India.

Where have you looked?

What were the names of the parents?

Were the siblings all registered in the same place? You may need to go back to that reigsitry.

Look as though the father may be Reginald Frank Rabjohns Capt in Indian Army Ordance Corps.

Thre seem to be several Rabjohns children born around this time. All registered with the British India Office records of births & Baptisms and some later with the Britiah Armed Forces Overseas Births & Baptisms. (Find My Past).

Added. Lokks like she returned fro India with her mother & sisters from India in July 1947 with an address in Worthing

There's a suggestion/claim on Ancestry that she was born in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, but no proof is offered.

The India Office records used to be kept at the Britiah Library - I assume they still are. it might be worth asking FIBIS for help. (Families in British India Society

Tracing Reginalds serivice record might help work out where he was in 1928/29
