Find Ancestors

Hello could someone please try to find a marriage for Edward Hall to Isabel ??? in 1723, possibly at Gainford, Co Durham. Also there are two baptisms on 20 January 1724 for Robert Hall and George Hall, parents Robert and Isabel and I am assuming these are twins. There is also a burial for an Isabel Hall 1724 and I was wondering if this was Isabel, Edward's wife.

I've searched members trees and on one for Robert on Place of Birth it says Gainford see notes. Where do I find the notes or do I just contact the tree owner?

Hello Erika, I have looked on Familysearch for the baptisms and on the index of FMP. There is a tree on Familysearch but it only has Robert with no mention of George, and for Robert and his wife Jane's children there is only one child Hannah whose date of birth is wrong and they actually had four children. All of my searching is off Familysearch. Thank you.

Thank you Maddie. I've just had a look on Durham records index and for 1723 Teesdale area which includes Gainford is a marriage for Isabel Emmerson and a marriage for Isable Simpson. I think Isable is supposed to be Isabel.

Two baptisms on the same day doesn't mean the children were twins.
Families often had more than one child baptised at the same time.

Hello Maddie, I think Edward may have remarried especially if he had two little ones to care for, although I haven't got that far yet (quite an unusual name). Hello Argyll, yes I had also considered that but I do like the sound of twins.
