Find Ancestors

Hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.

On Ancestry and My Heritage I have approx 30 plus DNA Matches with no apparent links, common ancestor and none of their names matched. However through researching their trees and a bit of detective work I created a new tree and through the most common relationship via DNA Painter worked out that all leads led to

Josiah Gardner B1815 and his wife Louisa Boorman B 1920, they had 10 children. Most of the DNA Matches stem from this couple and 6 matches stem from Louisa's sister.

After a bit of detective work i have found a link to one of the children of this couple.

Their youngest son George Gardner B1864 married an Emily Connery in 1906

Emily had been married before to a Samuel Connery who died in 1902, They had one son and one daughter who both died in childhood before 1901

Emily maiden name was Hills, born 1865 and is my Great Grand Aunt.

I have the marriage Banns for Emily C and George G confirming father was George Hills (he died in 1905)

in 1911, George and Emily where living with Mary Hills, Emily's mother who is my GG Grandmother.

Emily was 43 when she married George Gardner and I have found no evidence they had any children which would confirm a DNA link to the Gardner/Boorman family.

According to the 1881 Census George Gardner was visiting my Great Grand Parents Harriet (Hills) and Edward Wood! Sister of Emily, this maybe how they met! I have scenarios in my head that a child was born around this time which George fathered, either by Harriet or Emily. Emily would have been 15/16 around this time.

According to 1891 census, Harriet had a child born 1st March 1881 Florence Harriet Wood but wasnt baptised until 1886. Why would they wait 5 years??

I cant seem to find her birth record either other than the baptism stated above.

There is a link to the family but just cant find the DNA link.. :-S

Perhaps they changed their minds about her middle name between birth and baptism ??

Ellen Mary was also baptised on the same day. (Born 21 July 1884, per the baptism record - although actually born 1883)

It was quite common for parents to have children baptised in batches.
Perhaps when Edward was born, they thought they might as well have all the children baptised. Maybe they just hadn't got round to it earlier!
