Do you mean would anyone on here know anything about it ?

Have you tried googling or using Family Search?

Hi ErikaH, nameslessone. Doing Dutch genealogy has been a delight, usually such great records.. and I've gone from current day back to the direct ancestors 1747 marriage.. even got a copy of a letter from his mother giving him permission to marry and here's the twist..in that period, 1740's as a young man (born 's-Hertogenbosch, in 17160 he invented his own surname, trialing about 7 different but similar, versions.. this is acknowledged in his mothers letter.
the mother was a Anna Maria Pender, and in her 'Notice of Betrothal, she is described as of Merckslant in Kerkstraat (?)and her spouse to be, Johannes Lücks, a Sachsen - Prussia, the Widower of Maria Potist. In about 1706, he is in the employ of the corporation of the duke of Saxony Eisenach and is billeted on the Markt in the garrison place 's-Hertogenbosch where Johannes meets his future wife Anna Maria Pender, who lives in the Kerkstraat. Both are Lutheran and they have five children, only 2 of whom have left any trace.. My challenge now is to find ant detail re Anna Maria, Johannes or his first wife Maria.. and to date, Zero
