I know he married a Joyce Mabel Connolly ( she was born abt 1905 ) 25th January 1941 at St Clements Marrickville NSW & had a son Ian Charles Tildley I do not know when he was born either

St Peters and Tempe seem to be two separate areas of Sydney.

If I'm reading the image of the parish record of the marriage correctly, Charles John was born in St Peters, and Joyce in Tempe.

On an Ancestry tree there's a photo of Charles John's gravestone.

The tree gives no documentation re his birth, and I can't see any record of it online.
Ian and Gary's details are private on the tree.

The tree "owner" seems to be from the Churchill branch of the family.


The tree says that Joyce was born on 26 May 1921 - again with no documentary proof, apart from a photo of her gravestone.
Gravestone says she died 14/03/2008.
