Ancestry's transcription of 1911 spells their surname Richsen, and gives John's birthplace as Rhyl, Germany!

Thank you all for the above. There are various spellings for John Niehsen which makes it tricky trying to find out what happened to him after the 1911 census. Did he go back to Germany when war was imminent or was he interned? Did he die naturally? Thank you all again, I appreciate the help.

Margaret's marriage cert might tell you if her father was alive or deceased in 1934.
