I looked at this about 10 years ago, and assumed as she remarried as a widow 5 years later ( I have a copy of that cert) that Henry had died, but realised while going through paperwork just now , that I'd not found his death.

Worked back a little and his birth 'seems' to have been in Pembroke, mother Mary ann Morris/Morriss. Not yet found them on a census but may have a look again later.

Brilliant Erika, thankyou ( hope the delivery arrived!) I haven't had time to look today, beyond confirming a little more on the daughter Henrietta Lily of Henry Strugnell and Mary Ann Fishlock.

Since I last looked years ago records have been added online so the 1921 census shows her ( married) with her mother Mary Ann ( now remarried as Beddall) and step brothers. It's just snippets I hadn't got and does seem to be the likely reason behind my grandparents visiting the Isle of Wight around that time, and the story passed down that Queen Mary was at Osborn House and smiled at my uncle when she passed in her carriage.
