My mother’s ATS cohort were in barracks And were listed as such in the 1939 register.

Beatrice could have joined any if the three services and you would need some details before approaching the MOD.

Is there any way of me checking if she volunteered online? Or would this be a request to the MOD?

Anyone born in 1906 should be an open record.

If she volunteered for war service and was in barracks, her name might not be listed………..clutching at straws, perhaps
