	Where have you looked? What else do you know about him? Why are you unsure about his birth year? Easy to find birth reg……………. There is NO ‘N’ on his birth registration record, or his Home Guard record. The only Herbert N was born in 1899——————-his father There is a 2012 death on FMP for a man with the name apparently born 1926, but age at death is only as known to the informant ADDED In 1939, his DoB is given as 1 Nov 1926, so the poor man was probably given inaccurate info by his parents Make yourself familiar with the GRO website - FREE to use and including much more info than other sites with regard to births and deaths
