Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	Peter John Leslie Burd My father was brought up by his elder sister Kathleen in Gravesend after his father died when he was 10 (he was a proffesional soldier), his mother re-married, Kath married into the Jeary family, he met my mother in 1940 in Llanelli South Wales, they were married in 1946, Grandfather Burd came from Peebles in Scotland, are there any Burd's still living there?
