i'm trying to find info about my nan's family,my nan was called ELIZABETH LEE,and was born on 17/01/1913 at 6,ACKLAM STEET,stockton-on-tees,near the gas works,her father was called john william and was a labourer in the steel works and her mother was called jane-ann nee moore,she had 9 brothers and sisters,BOB,JOE,ALBERT,ANNIE,MARY,JANE-ANN(KNOWN AS JENNY),FLORRIE,i don't know the other two names,joe married belle and had children called joesph philomina,maureen(long distant lorry driver) and mary,ANNIE's GRANDCHILDREN are called merrium and kathryn.jenny married albert colbourne.my nan married thomas williams in 1931,they had 2 children one being thomas bernard who was tragicaly killed at the age of 16 they divorced in 1972 but had separated long before that and my nan took on her second husbands name ELLAM long before they actully married,her second husband my grandad was grantley george ellam born 01/03/1910 in dublin and died 20/08/1969,in middleton cheney,northants |
