I seek information on the HILL family who lived in Compton Street, Clerkenwell for nearly a hundred years up to the 1930s. They were newsagents. Before that they lived in Spitalfields, one Robert Archibald Hill being a baker there. My father was the eldest son of the last generation to live there, Arthur Archibald Hill. His sister May married, I think, a Harry Morgan and carried on the business. I know she had a daughter Megan. Would love to make contact with any Hill cousins to share the family research. Ivy Trott in South Africa, born Hill. |
