My G.Grandfather James ALLEN of the 75th Regiment was born in Wooburn Bucks about 1825. He was the son of James Allen and Phoebe Ing. He came to Wadebridge Cornwall and married Elizabeth Berriman daughter of George Berriman and Diana Polglase. They had 15 children and those who survived are Hannah, Jane, George, Henrietta, Millicent, William James, Mary Ann, Martha, Kate, Emma, Hilda and Lottie. As all but two were girls and changed their names when they married they are difficult to track down. There must be many, many cousins out there somewhere.
