Hi Louis,
It would appear that most of the parker family seem to eminate from around n.devon, and in particular the ilfracombe area. Having traced numerous parkers back to here, I've also come to a halt. The next stop off point for me to go further will be the county archives and parish registers which are not generally viewable on the internet. My GGGgrandma was Sarah Parker who moved to london and kent, married Richard Butcher in 1807, and died in 1872 aged supposedly 86, and may be related to you. We appear to be related to the Parker side which had numerous admirals during the 18/19th centuries, but that's as far as I've reached.
Any help?

I am looking for anyone who could give me information with regard to Parker family, which lived in Yeovil somerset. I am related to a family which had a butcher shop in Vicarage st, between 1880 & 1940, its posible that it was still there as late as the 1950s, "N L Parker & sons Family butchers" I have a picture of the shop it was on a corner. Nathanial was born around 1835-45 he had a sister my Dads grand mother, I have been able to trace the line back as far as 1780s but am looking for the next clue. My Dad is still alive he is now 97, it would be good to here from any one who might be related. Dad left yeovile in 1912 and moved to Weymouth.
