i am trying to trace any information on william jackson, born 1938 in glasgow. he was adopted by william & mary jackson, possibly originally from glasgow but later of saltcoats, ayrshire. william was my father and he died in 1987 in manchester. he left my mother in 1966? to move to manchester with rita alexander. rita had 2 children to her first husband tom, steven and may. william was a lorry driver and drove for schreiber for years. he was originally a bus driver but i dont know if he drove the buses in manchester. any information would be appreciated. contact me at [email protected] |
