I am looking for information on my grandfather's half brother, William Williamson Hall b, 1872 in Newcastle upon Tyne. His father was William Hall and mother Mary Ann Williamson. His mother died when he was about 3 and his father remarried to Elizabeth Davidson when he was 9. There were 5 children to this marriage, John, Lily, Anthony, Manie and Kate. He married Margery Calbreath in 1897 and they had at least one child, a son John Robert born in 1898. I believe they moved to Scotland in he early/mid 1900s as the last contact I know of was when he visited Newcastle in the mid 1920s possibly for John's funeral when my father was told it was his Uncle Willie and he spoke with a Scottish accent. Any help greatly appreciated. |
