Hi ...Can anybody give me any suggestions on the query I am having at the moment. Part of my family history are the Rodway's, Samuel Rodway inparticular was my G Grandfather, I have come across conflicting info regarding him. According to his birth cert he was born in 1883 but on his marriage cert to Annie Hesketh in 1903 he was 22 years old, which would mean he was born 1800/01? I have looked in the indexes and cannot find any entry for Samuel Rodway in 1800/01. Also on his birth certificate it shows Sarah Rodway nee Price as his mother, however on the 1901 census she is named as Sarah Crosby, widow. His father Edwin appears on his birth cert (living0 & marriage cert (deceased) My query is this. Could the info regarding his age on the marr cert be wrong? and also how do I find how Sarah Price went from Rodway to Crosby as a widow. Sorry for going on but I don't know where to go next and I do think that this Samuel Rodway is the same person, same mother, father etc but how do I confirm this Any help or advice would be greatly received. Thanks for reading. Pam
