My grandmother was Janet Parker from Ayr, Scotland, born about 1878. I believe there were a number of brothers and sisters. Janet came to England and married my grandfather George Clarke, in Liverpool probably between 1906 and 1913. She left Liverpool and came to Bradford {alone] and opened a small cafe in Allerton. Janet died in 1941 when I was two weeks old. If anyone can tell me anything about her at all I would be very grateful. I do know that the name McGill appears on a very delapidated birth certificate. Many thanks.
