Simon Hales - Trying to find information about my Grandmother born 1899 Gladys Thomas in Glasgow her fathers name was William Thomas. I am not sure but I'm sure she had brothers and sisters. Her mothers name was Ada Kelly they had been married in Liverpool in 1898. Although they had lived in Glasgow the 1901 census shows they moved to Chatham Kent. My Grandmother married a Frederick William Allen and had 3 children Muriel, Anthony (Tony), and Maurice. Frederick William Allen was my Grandfather but I never saw him, but he went through both World Wars, being taken prisoner in Crete. He died in the fifties. Any help would be great.
