Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 7 Send Message	LEIGH AREA. WOODS/PRESCOTT. Trying to find anything about my grandparents on my mothers side. JAMES WOOD(s) married a SELENA PRESCOTT in 1914. 2 daughters were born, Maggie and Edna. Selena was mentioned as a 'Pit Head Lass'. Which pit would that be. Does anyone have any information. There would have been brothers on James's side (he was killed in 1918 in France) and maybe Selena had sisters/brothers. Selena MAY have married a MICK WHALEN?? Ring any bells for anyone???
