Hi I am trying to find out anything about my Grandmother IRENE DAVIS daughter of GEORGE DAVIS c1885 (was poss jewish and changed his name to DAVIS) AND JANET RICHARDS c1887 the daughter of a common keeper in Basingstoke. IRENE married ERNEST BROADHURST and died when their son DAVID ERNEST BROADHURST 1945 was around 14 years old. She was born in the Princess Road, Thornton Heath area. She had three sisters and 5 brothers, GLADYS (or mickie poss nickname) c1909 DORIS c1910 ELSIE c1912 HAROLD c1906 HERBET c 1907 GEORGE c1908 LEONARD c1911 RONALD c1917 We belive there was also an adopted son called JAMES TUCKER c1920. He was the younger brother of GEORGE TUCKER c1910 the husband of GLADYS. If anyone has any clues please please contact me, Natalie x |
