I wondered if anyone has a marriage connection between Tennyson and Williams(on) or Harrison in their tree, pre 1800 and probably relating mainly to the Lincolnshire/Yorkshire area. John Williams and Elizabeth (nee Harrison) gave the middle name Tennyson to all but one of their seven children. It is a continuing tradition throughout the tree for children to be given family surnames as middle names so I assume that is the case here, though I've not seen the same surname given to all before. Either that or the 'family rumour' of a wrong side of the blanket relationship to Alfred Lord Tennyson's family is true! Thankyou
